5 Simple House Hacks To Upgrade Your House Right Now!!!

Upgrading your house can be a lot of fun. However, if you're not sure where to start or don't want to spend a lot of money, then this is a great place to start! Here are 5 simple house hacks to upgrade your house right now!

1. House Hack #1: Replace old cabinet hardware and knobs

Changing out your old, outdated cabinet hardware and knobs can make a huge difference. You can give your room a more modern feel for only a dollar or two a knob! Some places can be more pricey. I found that the best deal is when you buy them in packs!

2. House Hack #2: Repaint Furniture

Old, paint chipped furniture can really stand out. An easy fix, that also works well with outdoor furniture, is to simply repaint it. I would first give the furniture a light sand to make sure you get all the chipping paint off first! I chose spray paint, because it was easy to use, cheap and fast!

3. House Hack #3: Power wash Your Sidewalks and Concrete

This is an easy AND fun house hack. Power wash your sidewalks and concrete. If you do not own a power washer. You can rent one, or you can see if your neighbor has one you can borrow!

4. House Hack #4: Replacing old Switch Plates and Outlet Covers

Outlet covers are fairly cheap, but also very easy to replace! I have seen them for less than a dollar each. 

5. House Hack #5: Fresh Coat of Paint

Colors became outdated and walls get marks and scuffs on them. An easy fix for this is to give your room a fresh coat of paint. You could even do an accent wall and paint one wall different!
